Founded in 1985, the Brisbane Branch is one of the oldest and largest Queensland branches of Ulysses Inc. Brisbane Branch provides male and female motorcycle enthusiasts (and their partners), over the age of 40 who hold a valid motorcycle licence endorsement, with a range of friendly, motorcycle-related social activities. These include day rides, weekend over nighters, breakfast outings, twilight dinner rides, charity rides, special event rallies.

Ulysses Club was formed by a few mature motorcycle enthusiasts who wished to provide venues for like-minded and equally mature people to meet and enjoy their machines. Ulysses Club's adopted creed of "Growing Old Disgracefully" echoes the spirit and sentiment of the epic poem Ulysses, by Tennyson.

Since its inception, Ulysses has grown from a handful of participants to a fully-fledged national organisation of approximately 25,000 members. When a member joins the Ulysses Club they do so on a national basis and it is then that members choose whether to attend one particular branch or several branches.

Brisbane Branch general meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at:

Meetings commence at 7:30 pm with meals available from 6:30 pm
